As a result of an internal promotion, we are recruiting for Oncology Sr TS to drive adoption of ADC for Triple Negative Breast Cancer in Scotland & Northern England. Essential Job Functions

These senior oncology sales roles require expert oncology scientific and technical skills, demonstrated emotional intelligence, strong business acumen and a passion for finding solutions to complex problems for the betterment of patient care. As a key commercial link between Gilead in oncology and health care practitioners you will need to have strong existing networks in the oncology ecosystem, preferably in breast cancer. You will confidently engage with the whole multi-disciplinary team for a thorough understanding of each stakeholder’s role and needs. You will thrive working as a collaborative member of the cross functional team.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Oncology Scientific Expertise (preferred)
    • Demonstrates a clear understanding of the factors that impact, shape and influence the oncology ecosystem.
    • Deep understanding and navigates oncology hospital environments.
    • Expert scientific knowledge in oncology who is a scientific knowledge expert and clinical resource for oncology to their customer.
    • Has established strategic relationships with MDT, opinion leaders & the senior account level leadership as well as other policy shaping and decision makers.
  • Key Account Management
    • Expertise in insights generation, strategy development and execution, working as part of a cross-functional team.
    • Measures performance and adapts for success.
    • Deep understanding and navigates complex hospital environments and understand the needs and challenges of various stakeholders at all levels within the account and partner to find win-win-win solutions.
    • Development and execution of strategic account plans including prioritised individual stakeholder and account activity plan.
    • Develop strategic relationships with multidisciplinary team members, opinion leaders & the senior account level leadership as well as other policy shaping and decision makers.
    • Partners and collaborates with the oncology multi-disciplinary team as a trusted partner for a thorough understanding of each stakeholder’s role and needs.

  • Business Acumen and Accountability
    • Understand future trends and shape ecosystems to enable introduction of treatments.
    • Understand the needs and challenges of various stakeholders at all levels within the account and partner to find win-win-win solutions.
    • Develops in-depth market interpretation of sales analysis data.
    • Thrives in an agile oncology setting with dynamic release and fast uptake of products.
    • Advanced business acumen to lead the development and execution of strategic account and commercial plans which will include clear goals and tactics aligned with corporate and commercial business objectives.
    • Takes full ownership to deliver sales targets in assigned territory and supports delivery of team targets.
    • Initiates systems to monitor sales progress and action plans.
    • Manages territory budgets for sales and expenditure.
    • Represents company at professional events and promote company products at such events.
    • Leads sales initiatives within the market to deliver to plan.
    • Completes necessary administrative tasks in a timely manner e.g. updating customer database, expenses etc.
    • Responsible for achieving the competency levels required in the role.
    • Compliance with all legal and regulatory agencies is required.
