Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Director to develop HEOR strategies and execute the launch and lifecycle management of YESCARTA, managing projects from inception to completion across all research phases. The role may also support other Kite indications such as Tecartus, Anito-cel, or pipeline products. Responsibilities include research design, project management, analysis, interpretation, dissemination of HEOR evidence, and communicating key value messages. Collaboration with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Government Affairs, Legal & Regulatory, and other functions is essential, as well as engagement with external KOLs and decision-makers. The position is based in Stockley Park, London (UK), reporting to the ACE HEOR head.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting evidence development for clinical, economic, and patient-centered value propositions related to YESCARTA.
- Conducting systematic reviews, meta-analyses, indirect treatment comparisons, real-world outcomes studies, PRO studies, cost-effectiveness, and budget impact models.
- Managing budgets and timelines for vendor activities.
- Interfacing with cross-functional teams to develop HEOR strategies and evidence.
- Representing Kite at external scientific meetings and forums.
- Collaborating with internal and external experts on study execution and field initiatives.
- Providing internal training on HEOR methodologies and data results.
- Ensuring scientific accuracy and relevance of conference materials.
- Creating study documents, protocols, analysis plans, reports, and manuscripts.
- Developing health economic analyses and models to assess cost-effectiveness and burden of illness.
- Supporting Phase IV trial design and external HEOR consulting.
Basic Qualifications
- MA/MS with extensive experience OR
- BA/BS with extensive experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in life sciences or related field (PharmD, PhD, MD, MPH/MS, etc.) with relevant experience.
- Extensive industry experience in HEOR, preferably in hematology/oncology.
- Experience with economic modeling, PROs, and retrospective/prospective HEOR research.
- Ability to influence strategy with internal/external stakeholders.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong communication, research design, modeling, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and work independently or collaboratively.
