Located in Hampstead, North London, Gilden's Art Gallery specialises in Modern Fine Art of the early 20th century. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Gallery Assistant.
- Day-to-day running of the gallery
- Face-to-face dealing with clients both at Art fairs and in the gallery
- Preparation of Art Fair
- Packing Artworks
- Assisting with the installation of exhibitions
- Gallery administration: online marketing and promotion, photography and shipment of artworks both nationally and internationally
This is a starting-level position in an active Art Gallery. The successful candidate will hold at least a bachelor's degree in Art History or a similar qualification. Must have at least one year of relevant prior experience in a commercial gallery as a gallery assistant (including internships). He/she will be an ambitious individual who has excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in one or several other languages will be advantageous. Availability to work 5 days per week, including one day on the weekend.
