Gildan is a leading manufacturer of everyday basic apparel, with a strong portfolio of brands, including Gildan®, Hanes®, Comfort Colors®, American Apparel®, ALLPRO™, GOLDTOE®, Peds®, Bali®, Playtex®, Maidenform®, Bonds®, as well as Champion® which is under an exclusive licensing agreement for the printwear channel in the U.S. and Canada.

The Brand Advisor will be responsible for representing the brand across the UK blank apparel market, building strong relationships with printwear accounts, driving brand awareness, and supporting sales growth. This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel, excellent relationship skills, independent territory journey planning and management. The successful candidate will manage their own diary and appointments, visit 10-15 accounts per week, and act as the face of the Gildan brand to garment decorators across their assigned territory.

  • Territory & Account Management
    • Visit and engage with 10-15 customer accounts each week across your assigned UK territory.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with decorators and printwear clients.
    • Plan, manage and optimize your own diary of appointments and travel efficiently.
  • Brand Representation & Growth
    • Promote the Gildan product range, brand values, and product benefits with confidence and professionalism.
    • Deliver product presentations, training, and support at customer sites and relevant trade events.
    • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and help open new business doors.
  • Sales & Reporting
    • Support achievement of weekly and monthly activity, sales, and growth targets.
    • Provide timely sales, territory, and competitor insights back to the team.
    • Prepare clear reports on visits, trends and opportunities.
  • Market & Customer Insight
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, customer needs and competitor activity.
    • Feed marketplace intelligence to inform strategy and product focus.

Requirements

  • Experience in field sales, brand ambassadorship, account management or B2B customer engagement, ideally in apparel, textiles, printwear, promotional products or related sectors.
  • Strong communicator with excellent presentation and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Comfortable managing your own schedule and working independently on the road.
  • Able to travel extensively across allotted territory and adapt to a field-based role.
  • Full, clean valid UK driver’s licence.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet weekly targets.
  • Resilient, proactive, entrepreneurial and commercially minded.
  • Professional, enthusiastic and confident when interacting with customers.
  • Knowledge of the printwear/decorated apparel market would be considered an asset.
  • Experience running product demos or training sessions in a B2B environment would also be considered an asset.
