Job Description

This is a new role within the digital marketing team of a specialist full service digital marketing agency who have global clients within various industries. With some major recent change and growth, a new position has arisen for a strong SEO Manager to join the team. The main aim of this role is to elevate your clients’ online visibility, driving traffic and conversions, leading to their growth, through new leads from online marketing. We are looking for someone who lives and breathes digital marketing, bringing prosperity to your clients and delivering successful campaigns.

Role overview:

The team are currently seeking a talented SEO Manager to join the team. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Search and will have the opportunity to build and manage a small team of SEO Executives around you.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Develop, implement, and manage SEO strategies for a range of clients
  • Conduct keyword research and SEO analysis
  • Implement link building strategies and manage backlinks to build online authority
  • Monitor paid search campaigns
  • Work with other departments to create and implement cross channel marketing campaigns and optimised content
  • Briefing and managing external freelance resources
  • Monitor and report on KPIs and SEO metrics
  • Train and develop SEO Executives
  • Follow SEO trends and stay up-to-date with new tools and practice

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of your knowledge within SEO and Search campaigns
  • A passion for digital marketing and willingness to develop your skills
  • Google certification
  • Proven track record of return on investment and results-driven strategies
  • Minimum of three years of SEO experience within a digital marketing agency or in-house team
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, SE Ranking or similar also preferred
  • Recent experience with AI tools for SEO, professional application of CGPT for content as a minimum requirement
  • WordPress proficiency and experience in a CMS and front-end dev would be preferred
  • Strong understanding of data analysis related to SEO performance 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with busy, professional clients 
  • Proven ability to manage SEO Executives and contribute to their professional development

Salary £30,000 – £35,000 or possibly up to £37,000 + benefits for someone exceptional.
