ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Creation
- Leading the in-house team that deliver Content Shoot projects for Social Media clients
- Photography & Video production on location
- Drone operation also desirable and/or training may be provided
- Strategy & planning for content shoots, including the creation of shoot briefs, itineraries, mood boards, etc. and co-ordination with client marketing teams
- Creative direction to ensure content aligns with each client’s brand identity and campaign objectives
- Post-production and content editing to produce content assets ready for use on Social Media
- Repurposing existing assets and optimising for use on Social Media channels
- Supporting Online Advertising teams with the creation of advertising content assets
- Social Media Marketing
- Working across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Creating regular publishing plans for varied platforms and objectives
- Filing and editing of multi-media content
- Scheduling and optimisation of all social content
- Performance review and benchmarking
- Keeping abreast of social and industry trends, platform updates and new features
- Client & Team Management
- Liaising with client marketing teams & hotel general managers to co-ordinate Social Media
- Managing the in-house team responsible for Social Media content creation
- Providing creative direction and feedback on shoots and content outputs
- Work in collaboration with the agency’s brand, creative and digital marketing teams to deliver a holistic service for clients
- Mentoring and supporting Social Media content team members
- Supporting new business proposals and pitches when needed
Skills & Experience
- Essential
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a digital/marketing agency environment
- First-class multimedia content creation and editing skills
- Professional photography & video production experience
- Best practice understanding and experience across social platforms
- Excellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational skills, with an aptitude for multi-tasking and managing priorities
- A keen visual eye, and a flair for crafting presentations
- Desirable
- Degree in Social Media and / or Digital Marketing
- Drone piloting experience, ideally with an associated training qualification
- Copywriting skills that are sharp, memorable and make readers take action
- Driving licence
- A fluent second language

Location
The role will be based at the Edinburgh head office. They offer a hybrid approach, usually 3 days/week in the office although you will of course be out and about a lot!
Remuneration
Competitive Salary, based on experience £35,000 - £45,000
Profit share scheme / bonus (to c£2k)
