Our client is looking for a talented Motion Graphic Designer to join the beating heart of this agency in creative services. You’ll bring an excellent eye for aesthetics, a skilled pair of hands, and a fire in your belly to produce award winning motion designs!
You’ll be working with a team of talented creatives in a variety of media. We’re looking for someone who has a flair for ideas, a passion for creating, and the skills to deliver high quality and innovative motion graphic content.
That means you must be skilled in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator as minimum. But this agency also really values a desire to push yourself and learn new skills, so anything from knowledge of editing and understanding of HTML/CSS is a big plus.
With many projects on the go at once, you’ll also need to be a multi-tasking, always-on-top-of-things type, with eagle-eyed attention to detail. But most importantly you’ll need to be a natural collaborator, as you’ll be working closely with other creatives and account management to deliver work that wows on-time, on-brand and on-brief.
Essential attributes:
- Excellent motion design skillset
- Ability to work alongside art directors, designers and copywriters to deliver strong creative campaigns
- The ability to story tell and create storyboards to sell in your ideas
- Be able to select appropriate audio, graphic and animation styles for projects
- Eager to discover the latest and greatest techniques, programs, processes and training.
- A passion for design and keen to push the envelope on what’s possible.
- Confident in bringing your innovative ideas and creativity to projects whilst working to design guidelines.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work under your initiative
Ideally you’ll have at least 4 years’ experience, but most importantly, you’ll have a strong creative drive in Motion Graphics – and the portfolio to prove it.
The role is Edinburgh-based with 3 days being in the office. Salary is negotiable, dependent on experience to £35,000 as a basic … great benefits, training opportunities, wonderful social programme.
