This is a new opportunity for 2026 within a wonderful, award winning full service marketing agency who have their head office in Scotland. Account Managers work closely with clients, partners, suppliers and the agency’s in house team to deliver successful projects and marketing campaigns for a range of blue chip clients.
The responsibilities of an Account Manager include:
- CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Act as the main point of contact with clients
- Attend regular meetings with clients at their location, and maintain contact through email & phone calls
- Gain an understanding of clients’ business needs/focus, and relay this to the team
- Deliver the agency’s output to clients and provide clear explanation and maintain transparency
- ANALYSIS & REPORTING
- Produce monthly reporting for clients, updating them on work completed, work planned, and the performance of their website & marketing activity
- Identify, using various analytics solutions, any issues with website performance and advise on a course of action to address
- STRATEGY & PLANNING
- Work with the overall team of specialists to deliver your services & results for clients
- Schedule work within the team and ensure this is delivered
- Identify new opportunities for clients
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL:
- A confident, proactive attitude
- Demonstrably commercially-minded
- Excellent inter-personnel & communication skills
- Strong organisation & project management skills, with an aptitude for multi-tasking and managing various priorities
- At least 2 years’ experience working within account management within a digital agency (or agency like environment)
- Experience & knowledge of digital marketing techniques including PPC, SEO, SEM, Social Media, etc.
- A working knowledge of Google Analytics, with a Google Analytics Individual Qualification being an added bonus
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft office packages
DESIRABLE:
- A degree in marketing- or business-related subject
- Experience & knowledge of managing creative projects such as branding, design and website development
- Experience using and/or knowledge of Google AdWords, Bing Advertising, Facebook Ad Manager, Funnel, Slack, Trello, WordPress, Umbraco & other CMS’s.
- Experience of digital solutions - web design / development projects, digital marketing and anything to do with digital
- Some experience of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc. may be advantageous
Salary purely dependent on skills & experience to £35,000 with excellent benefits.
