The Creative team is looking for a Senior Copywriter who can turn smart strategic thinking into words that move - for culture, for audiences and for clients. We’re looking for a creative problem solver who is a dyed in the wool creative writer who is used to working on big campaigns, iconic brands and integrated solutions. This is a senior creative role at the heart of this award winning creative department. You’ll partner with art directors, strategists, account teams and planners to build ideas and campaigns that solve real challenges and elevate brands. You’ll also help shape the voice of the agency and mentor other writers along the way.
The opportunity: In this role, you won’t just write - you create compelling ideas. This isn’t a content creating role. From integrated campaigns to digital and social execution, you’ll be responsible for crafting compelling copy that resonates across channels, while helping steer creative thinking from brief to delivery. You’ll work on high-profile briefs, contribute to new business pitches, and be a key voice in creative problem-solving.
Your role:
- Lead original creative writing and concept development across campaigns, including digital, social, broadcast, CRM, OOH and more
- Interpret strategic briefs and collaborate with art directors to build standout, effective creative work
- Maintain strong brand voice, tone and messaging consistency across all outputs
- Present, defend and evolve ideas with confidence to internal teams and clients
- Mentor, guide and inspire junior writers, helping raise the quality of work across the team
- Work collaboratively with planners, account teams and design partners to shape work that is strategically sound and commercially effective
- Provide constructive feedback and help refine briefs to drive even better outcomes
- Continuously keep up with culture, creative trends and language innovation that informs better work
What we’re looking for:
- You’re a senior copywriter who:
- Has strong conceptual writing skills across a range of formats (long, short, digital, social)
- Loves writing and storytelling with attention to detail, grammar and tone
- Thrives in collaborative environments and can translate strategic goals into creative expression
- Can confidently articulate and sell ideas to peers and clients
- Brings strategic thinking as well as craft excellence to creative solutions
- Has experience presenting work and advocating for great ideas
- Enjoys mentoring and helping others grow their skills
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven agency experience at senior level
- A strong portfolio of creative work with a few awards under your belt
- Experience across integrated campaigns and digital channels
