Salary: £25-30,000
Benefits: Full time; Hybrid working, but early phase it is expected that you will be in office at their Head Office in Haddington. Thereafter, you will have the option to work from Haddington or Edinburgh. There will also be occasional travel throughout the UK to visit various sites - there are 13 in total!
Hours: core 9-5.30pm (some flexibility for the right candidate)
This is a brand-new role within a small but growing and ambitious, entrepreneurial company. There are currently c13 sites in Scotland and some in England and this number is only set to grow.
In this role, you’ll be a key member of the marketing team and will support the Head of Marketing on a wide range of marketing projects, giving you exposure to different types of on and offline campaigns. The main factor for this role is within data driven Email Marketing (currently use HubSpot but will be migrating to Mailchimp).
Some duties you’ll be doing in the role include:
- Setting up, delivering, and reporting on automated email campaigns – optimising performance through testing (from CRM and online from the website)
- Segmenting data from their CRM for targeted campaigns and delivering campaign analysis – always looking at ways to improve engagement
- Collaborating closely with teams and producing engaging campaignable content for the emails and for adaptation across a variety of platforms
- Production of campaign assets – including info-graphics and video
- Monitoring campaign performance and producing MI
- Monitoring social channels and our marketing sales ‘landscape’
- Editing content for SEO and analysis
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 6 months experience (in house or agency) with a proven track record of delivering email marketing campaigns
- A degree, or professional qualification in marketing/digital media – if undergrad degree in other discipline
- Experience of developing, running and reporting upon email marketing campaigns
- A genuine interest in all things associated with the digital marketing world
- Strong time management skills, as this will be a busy and at times high pressure position
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent proof-reading skills and attention to detail
- You will be a self-starter, proactive and able to get things done
- A level of comfort with numbers and analysis and you will be commercially astute
- A can do attitude – able to turn your hand to other marketing disciplines if needed (even in areas where you do not consider yourself ‘expert’)
It would be advantageous to have some knowledge/experience in analytics dashboards, but above all, you will have a real hunger to build on your experience. This role provides massive scope for developing experience across the marketing, corporate affairs and sales enablement landscape for the right person.
