Our client is a fast-paced agency who works with an exciting and diverse portfolio of clients, including travel, charity, public sector, retail brands, and financial institutions. The team reflects this diversity, bringing together talented web developers, designers, creative writers, experiential event specialists, and dedicated marketers to roll out effective integrated digital marketing campaigns. They pride themselves on ethical, effective marketing strategies - no black hat tactics, clickbait, or questionable methods!
The Digital Services Team are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager specialising in paid media / PPC / Paid Social to add to the integrated digital skillset. You will have a minimum of 1 year’s experience working across different media platforms and you will be practised at getting Alphabet and Meta campaigns off the ground. Along with your core responsibilities of setting up, running and optimising paid media campaigns, you will also help with Google Analytics reporting. You will be a dab hand at Google's Looker Studio and spreadsheets and be able to use Google Tag Manager.
In short, we’re looking at someone who can hit the ground running with Google Ads and Meta as well as Google Analytics / reporting (this is the core element of the role).
Day to day:
- You’ll be solving problems, being curious and diligent.
- You will be developing strategies for clients, laying out a vision for the future and a path to get there, which takes their media spending to a better, more profitable, ethically sound future.
- A chunk of the job is working with numbers, taking data from social media reports (Instagram, Facebook, et al), turning them into meaningful reports and looking for wisdom.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- You will talk to and present to clients as you articulate your vision or investigations.
- Working with Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms.
- Helping set up tracking.
- Building and analysing reports (Google Analytics and Meta).
- Problem-solving (you'll be Googling a lot).
- Document project progress - status reports, contact reports and the paperwork mechanics of agency life.
- Helping with presentations, including adrenaline-rousing pitches.
What we’re looking for:
- Our client is asking for one or (preferably) two years of paid media experience; perhaps that’s because you’ve been client-side and run a brand’s own campaigns, or because you’ve cut your teeth in an agency role and are now looking for more responsibility and to be a more significant part of the team.
- The successful candidate will be someone who comes into the office 3 days per week (hybrid 2 days per week), solves problems, helps others, grows the business and gels well with the team, whilst keeping abreast of industry developments.
- You will be self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Well-organised with a keen eye for detail.
- Curious and good at problem-solving.
- A genuine team player.
- An expert on social media.
- Interested in digital culture and the evolution of the web.
- Has a desire to learn, perhaps even gain more qualifications within digital marketing.
- The successful candidate will have used Google Tag Manager, can create Triggers and deploy Tags but does not need to be a front-end developer.
You’ll be joining a fantastic team / agency (definitely one of Scotland’s employers of choice and a leading light in the agency world). Salary to £32,000 + outstanding benefits.
