Do you want to get your teeth stuck into big and bold projects with global brands within one of the UK’s most creatively decorated agencies? Fancy working with some of Scotland’s sharpest (and soundest) people in the industry? Our award winning client is looking for an experienced Art Director to join the beating heart of the agency’s creative department. You’ll bring a brain bursting with big ideas, a skilled pair of hands, and a fire in your belly! Conceptual creative skills are key to this role.
You’ll be working with a team of talented creatives in a variety of media. We’re looking for someone who has a flair for bold creative concepts, the confidence to sell them, and the skills to bring them to life with beautiful visuals. That means you must be skilled in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator as minimum. But the team also really value a desire to push yourself and learn new skills, so anything from knowledge of photography and motion graphics, to understanding of HTML/CSS or UX design is a big plus.
With many projects on the go at once, you’ll also need to be a multi-tasking, always-on-top-of-things type, with eagle-eyed attention to detail. But most importantly you’ll need to be a natural collaborator, as you’ll be working closely with other creatives and account management to deliver work that wows on-time, on-brand and on-brief.
To be considered for this amazing opportunity, you’ll have a minimum of 2/3 years experience of producing brilliant work within an integrated agency environment, but most importantly, you’ll have a strong creative drive and the portfolio to prove it.
Salary ÂŁ30,000 - ÂŁ40,000 (ideally cÂŁ35,000) + brilliant benefits including career training and development. 3 days / week in the (very cool) Edinburgh office.
It is also essential that you are already legally permitted to work in the UK with the associated paperwork if you are not a UK citizen. If you are not currently living in Scotland, please explain/outline your plans and timelines for relocation to Scotland. We are a Scottish based recruiter who generally do not represent “remote” opportunities - thus you will be either living in Scotland or have solid plans to relocate.
We aim to be an equal opportunities employer and are committed to ensuring that no applicant receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, age, disability, religion, belief, sexual orientation, marital status or race. Unless clearly stated otherwise, the advertised position is a permanent contract.
