This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the best consumer communications and PR agency groups in the UK.
A key member of the team utilising your commercial awareness and project management skills in the delivery of exceptional communications and marketing support services to your clients. You are at the heart of the account and the client relationship, delegating work appropriately to Executives and the wider team when necessary. Effectively managing upwards and accepting account leadership responsibility from Directors as required. Building senior client relationships and identifying opportunities to deliver additional support.
- Effectively lead small teams of account managers and account executives
- Create a supportive environment for account execs

Participate in the strategic development of campaigns, with the support of senior team:
- Demonstrate creative flair in campaign development and execution
- Ensure that creative solutions are found to client problems
- Proactively demonstrate a passion for building your cultural network and understanding
- Create high quality written and visual documents
- Encourage a wider passion for building consumer understanding amongst junior team
- Lead by example amongst your team, coaching them into strong publicists
- On bigger clients, the SAM should be the day to day account manager
- Ensure that the account execs working into you are delivering on all administrative duties
- Contribute effectively to the development of KPIs when planning campaigns
- Participate effectively in the analysis and evaluation of campaigns
- Seek to build out your network, and actively look for opportunities to generate new business opportunities for the agency
- Take an active role in the resource planning process
- Take an active role in the time analysis of your clients and projects
- Seek to generate new commercial opportunities within your existing client base β through expansion and cross-sell
- A developing ability to build project fee budgets, with the support of senior team
- Be able to contribute to the build of accurate programme cost budgets, and ensure all costs are being tracked by account execs
At Account Manager level, you should have a minimum of 2 years experience within a PR agency, account handling. At Senior Account Manager, you should have 3/4 years experience of account handling within a PR agency environment. Consumer communications experience is a must. A mixture of traditional PR approaches and digital is essential.
