Are you a dynamic commercial leader with a track record of driving success in industrial, food & beverage, applied life sciences, or agriculture sectors? If so, then this is your chance to take on a pivotal role , leading the commercial strategy for the UK and Europe in a high-growth business. About the Role: As Commercial Leader, you will spearhead the commercial operations for the UK and Europe, driving revenue and uniting cross-functional teams to execute a winning strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will directly manage sales teams across the UK and Europe, while also playing a critical role in shaping and implementing the commercial vision. Key Responsibilities: Lead the UK & European commercial teams, including 4 direct reports in the UK sales team, 4 inside sales team members , and 4-5 European sales reps . Bring order and cohesion to the European operation, working closely with functional heads in to align goals and streamline operations. Engage directly with customers to understand their needs, handle escalated issues, and ensure their voice is at the heart of the commercial strategy. Develop and implement a customer-centric commercial strategy that addresses pain points and drives growth in the industrial, food & beverage, applied life sciences, and agriculture sectors. Be a unifying force across regions and teams, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and execution of business goals. Report directly to the CEO , providing insights and updates on performance, strategy, and key initiatives. What you need to succeed: Proven experience in a commercial leadership role, preferably in a PE-backed company . Expertise in selling into industrial, food & beverage, applied life sciences, or agriculture markets, with deep knowledge of the European market . Strong people leadership skills with hands-on experience – you lead from the front and set the example for your team. Demonstrated commercial success – you know how to drive growth, boost revenue, and solve complex problems. An ability to manage and motivate teams across different functions and countries, acting as a connector to bring order to a fast-moving, evolving operation. Intellectually curious with a deep understanding of the importance of the voice of the customer .
