A well-established and highly regarded residential and dementia care home in Derby is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Deputy Manager to join their dedicated team.
The home provides residential and dementia care for up to 65 older adults, with purpose-built facilities, spacious communal areas, peaceful gardens, and comfortable en-suite bedrooms, offering a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for residents.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a very experienced and long-standing Home Manager, supported by a highly committed team. The home has an excellent reputation, with consistently positive feedback from residents and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Home Manager in the operational management of the home.
Assist in maintaining high standards of care, health, safety, and compliance.
Lead and motivate care staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support.
Support care planning, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure excellent communication with residents, families, and external professionals.
About You:
Proven experience in residential care management or as a senior deputy/assistant manager.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Knowledge of CQC requirements and best practice in care provision.
