Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG Manufacturer
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £50,000 + Benefits
Shift: Continental (4 on 4 off)
Are you a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a high-paying role in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We are working with a leading manufacturer in Wakefield that is seeking a skilled engineer to join their maintenance team.
The Role: Conducting planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
Working on electrical and mechanical breakdowns to minimize downtime
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently
What We’re Looking For: Time-served apprentice or relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience in an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment
Knowledge of PLCs is desirable but not essential
