Job Summary: We are supporting a well-established, leading UK operator in the residential/student accommodation sector to recruit an experienced Procurement Officer. You will support multiple sites across London and the Midlands, reporting directly to senior operations leadership. This is a hands-on, end-to-end procurement role covering all operational and capital purchasing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, vet and onboard reliable suppliers for goods and services.
  • Run tender processes, evaluate quotes and ensure full transparency.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms and service level agreements to deliver best value.
  • Manage end-to-end contract lifecycles including renewals and performance reviews.
  • Monitor spend, identify cost savings and ensure full budget alignment.
  • Maintain compliance with policy, regulation and health & safety standards.
  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve operational issues promptly.

Typical categories include: maintenance & compliance, cleaning, utilities, furniture & fit-out, and general operational supplies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role ideally within property, facilities management, hospitality or residential accommodation.
  • Strong negotiation, commercial awareness and numerical skills.
  • Solid understanding of tendering, contracts and compliance.
  • CIPS qualification is highly desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
  • Confident stakeholder management and clear communication skills.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
