Role Overview
GigSky is seeking a Part-Time Technical Content Writer with proven expertise in crafting high-caliber written content within the IoT space. The ideal candidate combines technical fluency, editorial depth, and domain-specific insight to articulate GigSky’s thought leadership in IoT connectivity, enterprise mobility, and next-generation networking.
This position demands demonstrated authority in IoT subject matter through published work and the ability to produce original, engaging, and technically credible content that resonates with both expert and executive audiences.
Candidate Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Candidates will only be considered if they meet all of the following criteria:
- IoT-Specific Portfolio: Must have published written content within the IoT domain, available through live links currently accessible on the web.
- Proven Subject Expertise: Portfolio pieces must demonstrate a substantive understanding of IoT ecosystems, including eSIM, eUICC, device connectivity, edge computing, or global data networks.
- Original Writing Sample: Must submit one or more newly written content samples (500–800 words) relevant to IoT connectivity, created specifically for this application.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop authoritative blogs, whitepapers, and thought leadership pieces on IoT connectivity, enterprise mobility, and network innovation.
- Refine website and marketing content to reflect GigSky’s technological leadership and global perspective.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure precision, coherence, and strategic consistency.
- Conduct independent research on emerging developments across IoT, 5G, private networks, and device management.

Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in technical writing, B2B content strategy, or technology marketing with a clear focus on IoT or telecommunications.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging, and authoritative narratives.
- Strong understanding of IoT architectures, data communication protocols, eSIM/eUICC technologies, and enterprise connectivity frameworks.
- Exceptional command of written English, with attention to structure, clarity, and tone.
- Experience collaborating with distributed, international teams preferred.
- Part-time or contract role requiring approximately 10–20 hours per week.
- Remote engagement with flexibility across time zones.
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and content quality.
