As a Senior Product Designer at Gigs, you'll shape the future of how people experience telecom â crafting intuitive, beautiful experiences across our web and mobile products. You'll elevate both Gigs' and our customers' brands through a cohesive design system and strong visual identity. This role blends creative excellence with handsâon execution: you'll partner closely with product and engineering to turn complex telecom workflows into simple, elegant, and lightningâfast user experiences. Design leads from the start, partnering with product and engineering to shape what we build. We move with clarity, taste, and momentum, guided by direct, specific, and kind feedback.
What You Will Do
- Own endâtoâend design for key product areas across Web and mobile, from discovery to polished delivery.
- Extend and evolve our design system to balance consistency and creativity across products and surfaces.
- Translate complex telecom concepts into intuitive, highâleverage workflows and crisp UI.
- Collaborate daily with product, engineering and key customer stakeholders to scope, prototype, validate, and ship.
- Run thoughtful discovery: synthesize research, data, and feedback into clear insights and decisions.
- Craft productionâready specs with a smooth designâtoâdev handover, including interaction states and edge cases.
- Contribute to our public face with occasional website and brandârelated work.
- Raise the bar: champion quality, accessibility, and performance without losing sight of speed.
- Prototype with the right tool for the job to deârisk ideas and communicate interactions.
- Mentor peers, share feedback generously, and help strengthen our product design culture.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience designing and shipping outstanding consumerâgrade products with exceptional UX and visual craft.
- Strong product sense: comfortable making tradeâoffs that deliver user and business impact.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across founders, PMs, and engineers.
- Fluency in modern design and prototyping tools (Figma) & familiarity with implementation constraints.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and iterating quickly in a startup environment.
