Due to our rapidly growing team, we are looking for a qualified nursery practitioner. We have a passionate team and have the welfare and interests of the children at heart. Our passion is to ensure each child reaches their full potential within a loving, nurturing, safe, fun, exciting and stimulating environment.
The candidate must have NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent.
Applicants must have:
- A firm and broad understanding of the EYFS Statutory requirements and how to implement these.
- Be passionate, enthusiastic, fun and possess a high standard of childcare and education.
- Be able to monitor and implement children's development, including providing a safe, caring environment to enable a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children attending the setting.
- Good communication skills, be approachable, confident, and caring with a passion for working with nursery children and their parents.
- A can-do attitude and be adaptable to the needs of the nursery.
- An excellent understanding of safeguarding / knowledge of child protection procedures.
- Be an excellent team player.
- Organise and supervise play and work activities and oversee activities which cover all areas of children's development.
- Act as a keyworker for a group of children.
- Liaise with parents/carers and professionals.
