Gigantes Group has been retained by a global Tier-1 leader in the photovoltaic (PV) solar industry to recruit a dynamic and high-performing Sales Manager for the Distributed Generation (DG) segment. This exciting role offers an outstanding career perspective within a globally top-ranked clean energy organization looking to expand its market share across Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and distribution channels.
In this position, you will own the commercial growth and customer strategy for the DG segment across Central America. You will act as the principal point of contact, building long-term, high-loyalty relationships with key business executives, major C&I clients, and strategic solar distributors. Operating in a remote-first setup with frequent travel, you will bridge the gap between regional market demand and our client's world-class PV product pipeline.
Key Responsibilities- DG Market Ownership: Find, recognize, and secure new customers while cultivating deep brand loyalty within the C&I and distributor client segments.
- Strategic Account Management: Maintain and expand relationships with strategically important large customers and distribution partners, serving as their dedicated partner to achieve designated sales quotas.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Liaise directly between customers and internal cross-functional groups (including Technical Service, Logistics, and Business Management Offices) to guarantee the timely and successful delivery of PV products.
- Forecasting & Metrics: Prepare precise sales forecasts, track key account metrics, proactively identify local channel growth opportunities, and clearly communicate quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive Solution Development: Constantly assess, clarify, and validate localized customer and distributor needs, leading collaborative efforts with internal staff to engineer tailored product and commercial solutions.
- Market Intelligence & Co-Marketing: Conduct deep market research to evaluate local competition, trends, and buyer types; support the Business Development and Marketing teams in executing targeted co-marketing activities.
- Experience: At least 2+ years in successful sales positions, with recent and relevant sales experience specifically within the PV (Solar) industry across the region.
- Market & Regulatory Knowledge: A proven track record of target execution within the country market, backed by a strong understanding of local energy laws, distributed generation regulations, and C&I market dynamics.
- Education: A University Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a highly related technical field.
- Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Working Style: An autonomous, self-starting working style paired with excellent customer-facing negotiation skills.
- Mobility: Willingness and ability to work remotely within the region, with the flexibility to undertake frequent travel to interface directly with customers and distributors.
