GigaDevice Semiconductor (Beijing) Inc., a public fabless semiconductor design company listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange (SHA: 603986), offers SPI NOR flash, SPI NAND flash, Microcontrollers (MCU), and sensor products for applications in embedded, industrial, and consumer electronics, as well as mobile communications. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, with a primary focus on semiconductor solutions (MCU & Memory) and business acumen to gain a deep understanding of our customer's industry, business objectives, opportunities and challenges, their offering, their product design lifecycles and workflows to create the highest possible value and impact for our customers, our partners and GigaDevice.
This role is based in the UK and is to cover the UK and Nordic area, requiring close collaboration with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure customer success.
- Expand, secure existing and develop prospective customer relationships and build an aggressive and realistic sales funnel.
- Support RFQ and conduct price negotiation and drive commercial and legal framework agreements.
- Establish and maintain the opportunity funnel and sales plan in CRM system.
- First point of contact and trusted partner for questions from the customer to manage account governance at all management levels.
- Collaborate closely with the global engineering, marketing, quality and logistics teams to achieve revenue and market penetration goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- ~3+ years of experience in technical sales in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
- ~Experience selling to large accounts and ability to sell the value and cost benefit of innovative semiconductors.
- ~Experience in working with semiconductor distributors and representatives.
- ~Disciplined in use of CRM for semiconductor applications and be forthright and timely in reporting details of customer sales opportunities, challenges, etc.
- ~Ability to work independently and travel as required.
- ~Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
