About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Amazon Brand Director to lead and scale multiple brand portfolios on Amazon. This is a senior leadership role responsible for setting brand strategy, driving revenue and profitability, leading Brand Managers, and acting as a trusted strategic partner to clients. The Amazon Brand Director owns the end-to-end performance of assigned brands, ensuring alignment between brand vision, Amazon execution, and commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Brand & Commercial Leadership
- Own the P&L and commercial performance of assigned Amazon brand portfolios
- Define and execute long-term Amazon brand growth strategies
- Set revenue, profitability, and market share targets
- Identify expansion opportunities across marketplaces, categories, and channels
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the senior strategic point of contact for brand owners and key stakeholders
- Lead quarterly and annual business reviews with clients
- Build long-term, trust-based client partnerships
- Oversee listing strategy, content, SEO, A+ Content, Storefronts, and brand positioning
- Direct Amazon advertising strategy in collaboration with PPC leadership
- Guide product launches, lifecycle management, and portfolio optimisation
- Ensure compliance with Amazon policies and best practices
- Lead, mentor, and develop Brand Managers and Senior Brand Managers
- Set performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability frameworks
- Drive operational excellence and process consistency across brand teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PPC, design, operations, and analytics teams
- Data, Reporting & Decision Making
- Analyse performance data to guide strategic decisions
- Review dashboards and reports covering sales, traffic, conversion, TACoS, and profitability
- Identify risks, inefficiencies, and growth levers early
- Champion a data-led, results-focused culture
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Amazon brand management, e-commerce, or marketplace leadership
- Proven experience owning and scaling Amazon brand P&Ls
- Deep expertise in Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
- Strong understanding of Amazon SEO, PPC, content, and conversion optimisation
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing teams
- Excellent strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management skills
Required Skills
- Experience working in an Amazon agency environment
- Experience managing multi-brand or international portfolios
- Familiarity with advanced Amazon tools and analytics platforms
- Experience launching and scaling brands across multiple Amazon marketplaces
