We are a 23-strong creative agency specialising in telling stories that improve people’s health. We create engaging and evocative content across all media and apply our creative thinking to everything from worldwide disease awareness campaigns for big pharma companies down to social posts for biotech start-ups. We work together to craft healthcare stories through branding, video and digital experiences that excite and inspire. Most importantly, everything we do is about improving human health: we love knowing that our work improves real people’s lives.

We're seeking a full-time creative digital designer (UI/UX) with a minimum of 3+ years experience (ideally within agencies) and London-based. Ideally you will have a record of showing recent / current experience in a design position utilising a range of design skills including web design, user interfaces, and online marketing campaigns.

You should have a deep interest in the world of digital and in pushing the boundaries of design around processes and frameworks. We want you to bring your expertise and creativity to our team and instil new ways of thinking about digital design within the team.

Knowledge of creating component libraries and complex design systems is a must, alongside UX and interaction design, and a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates attention to detail through layout, hierarchy, typography, interactive states and link logic.

Fluent in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud applications; Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, XD, Photoshop, and experience with After Effects would be an advantage.

You will have the opportunity to learn and evolve your design skills working on a variety of projects. This is a full-time role based primarily in our office in Farringdon, with the option to work from home up to two days a week. Please do not apply to this role if you’re seeking a work-from-home-only position. Our office is located on the 3rd floor of a building, reachable via steps to the front door and a lift. SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • You have that special feel for design and brands
  • Have a technical mindset with core understanding of the holistic digital experience
  • Be highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Great understanding of UX/UI design and able to provide strong insights led by research to enhance the overall user experience
  • Ability to create sitemaps, clear and intuitive information architecture, wireframes and prototypes
  • Knowledge and ability to build out component libraries and develop design systems in order to deliver high-quality web designs ready for hand-off to our developers
  • Proficient in Figma and other web-based design tools
  • The ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects
  • General knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite apps such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Ability and willing to collaborate and work with devs and our UX/Art Director as they advise on and feed into the technical specifics and design respectively
  • An interest in understanding the current benefits and limits of AI tools within design software and our workflow.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Use of 3D software to help bring assets to life in WebGL and ThreeJS
  • Creating/supporting brand design
  • Ability to create animations in Adobe After Effects
  • Knowledge and experience in producing design for interfaces such as sales aids, interactive infographics, hubs and any other novel platforms - we’d love to see examples of these things, if you have them

You will be working with the Digital Director, Account Director, design team and the development team. We are a tightly-knit group and encourage ideas and collaboration across departments.
