We're looking for a high-calibre, technically astute Finance Manager to join a leading client in industry. This is a rare opportunity to join a finance team and a centre of excellence. This isn't your standard technical accounting role. It's a high-impact, highly visible Finance Manager that bridges the gap between regional finance teams, senior stakeholders and global operations.
Provide best-in-class accounting and leadership across a dynamic, fast-paced global finance function, supporting continuous improvement, compliance, and high-quality financial reporting. Other key responsibilities will include;
- Identify and interpret new accounting standards or emerging practices relevant to the Group.
- Provide clear technical guidance to both the Group and regional finance teams.
- Review current accounting practices across the Group, identifying and delivering areas of improvement.
- Own and implement action plans to improve processes in line with evolving technical reporting needs.
- Support on significant transactions, advising on accounting treatment and technical impact.
- Deliver training and guidance on complex accounting issues in a way that is accessible to non-financial audiences and operational stakeholders.
- Strengthen the Group's control environment with practical, risk-aware solutions.
- Collaborate with auditors, senior finance leads and external stakeholders.
The role of Finance Manager targets
- ACA or ACCA qualified, likely trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 or a mid-tier firm.
- Strong technical background with experience in IFRS and consolidation.
- Capable of building credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and board-level leaders.
