Gifford and Partners have been appointed by a multi-award-winning professional practice firm in Leeds, to appoint a Tax Manager and Senior Tax Manager in private client tax. If you are an ambitious tax accountant wanting to step up and progress to manager, or a current Manager/Senior Manager in private client tax and fancy a new challenge, this could be just the opportunity for you.

The role is responsible for:
- Ownership of a varied and complex portfolio of private clients
- Managing and reviewing annual personal tax compliance work
- Advising clients on a range of personal tax matters including IHT, CGT, residence and domicile issues
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and leading advisory projects
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Liaising directly with clients and building long-lasting, trusted relationships
- Working closely with Directors and Partners on complex matters and strategic planning

- To be successful in this role, you will be a confident, client-focused tax professional
- Have a strong track record in personal/private client tax
- Essentially you will be CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Bring to the table a collaborative, forward-thinking approach
- Ambition to progress towards Senior Manager and Director roles
