Gifford and Partners have been retained to recruiting a Senior Project Accountant for an established and acquisitive business seeking to strengthen its finance function with a commercially minded, analytically strong accountant.
This is a particularly attractive opportunity for someone around 1-3 years post-qualified who wants to broaden their experience, develop new skills and play a more influential role in business decisions. You'll work across a varied portfolio of projects, including: M&A and acquisitions: Supporting financial due diligence, evaluating potential acquisition targets and analysing business performance. Finance transformation: Helping develop and implement a new CRM system, improving reporting, data quality and operational processes.
Commercial analysis: Producing financial models, business cases and meaningful analysis to support decision-making. Strategic projects: Working with senior stakeholders on initiatives designed to improve performance and support growth. Financial reporting: Maintaining some involvement in reporting and month-end, but without this dominating your role. Who would this suit? We're particularly keen to speak with ACA, ACCA or CIMA-qualified accountants, ideally with 1-3 years' post-qualification experience.
You might currently be working in audit, transaction services, management accounting, FP&A or a commercially focused finance role. Previous M&A or systems implementation experience would be useful, but we're equally interested in accountants who have the analytical ability, curiosity and ambition to develop these skills.
