Gifford and Partners are working with a large, complex and fast growing organisation to appoint an experienced FP&A Manager / Senior Commercial Finance Manager on an initial 6 month contract. This is a high-profile opportunity to join a business going through significant growth, investment and change. The finance function is playing a key role in supporting better decision making, improving insight and partnering senior stakeholders across a broad and evolving organisation.
The role can be structured either as a day rate assignment or a fixed term contract, with the potential for extension or a possible permanent opportunity beyond the initial 6 months. This is a commercially focused FP&A and Finance Business Partnering role, suited to someone who enjoys pace, complexity and senior stakeholder interaction.
- Acting as a trusted Finance Business Partner to senior operational and commercial stakeholders
- Producing insightful analysis around performance, trends, risks and opportunities
- Preparing high quality reporting packs and commentary for senior leadership
- Challenging assumptions and helping the business make better commercial decisions
- Supporting process improvement, reporting enhancement and wider finance transformation activity
- Working closely with regional, operational and central finance teams
We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering experience:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or ICAS qualified
- Experienced in FP&A, commercial finance or senior finance business partnering
- Strong across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis
- Commercially curious, proactive and able to turn data into meaningful insight
- Advanced in Excel and confident working with large data sets
