This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that is investing in its future, values its people and combines the opportunities of a growing national organisation with the supportive culture of a family-run business. The position offers a particularly attractive blend of FP&A, commercial finance, financial modelling, forecasting and operational business partnering. Crucially, this isn't simply a reporting role. Supporting business cases, investment appraisals and growth initiatives. Producing performance analysis and clear commentary for senior leadership. Helping improve reporting processes, systems, automation and the quality of financial information. What we're looking for We're keen to speak with commercially curious accountants who enjoy understanding the story behind the numbers. A solid grounding in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, used to partnering with operational stakeholders and enabling them to understand their numbers. Strong Excel skills and the ability to interrogate data and explain financial performance. An interest in developing further within FP&A and commercial finance. Confidence communicating with non-finance stakeholders. A proactive, analytical approach and the desire to make a tangible difference. Experience in manufacturing, retail, leisure, or another multi-site business would be useful, although applications from other sectors are equally welcome. Power BI and financial modelling experience would be advantageous but are not essential. Why consider this opportunity? A genuine step into commercial finance: Develop your FP&A and business partnering experience rather than remaining focused solely on historical reporting. A supportive culture: Join an organisation that values collaboration, individual contribution and helping its people succeed.
