We are partnering with an ambitious and evolving organisation in the Scottish Borders that is investing in its people, systems and future growth. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proactive Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant to join a visible and highly respected finance team in a role offering breadth, progression and real impact.
This is far more than a reporting role. You will be at the heart of operational and commercial decision making, working closely with senior leaders across site, operations and commercial teams to improve profitability, efficiency and accountability.
The OpportunityYou will play a key role in delivering insightful management information, challenging assumptions, supporting strategic decisions and helping the business continue its improvement journey.
Key responsibilities will include:- Preparing weekly and monthly performance packs with meaningful analysis and commentary
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and longer term planning cycles
- Partnering with operational leaders to improve site performance and margins
- Reviewing KPIs, trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
- Supporting pricing decisions, cost control and investment appraisals
- Managing month end processes, reconciliations and controls
- Driving stock accuracy, forecasting and cash flow visibility
- Playing an active role in continuous improvement projects across the site
- Supporting statutory accounts and audit processes
- Acting as a trusted finance voice within the leadership team

You may be:
- CIMA / ACCA qualified
- MAAT qualified and actively studying further
- Already operating in a Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant role
