Summary

This role is a 18 month Fixed Term Contract.

As Senior Product Manager for the Identity domain at giffgaff, you'll own the vision, strategy and outcomes for one of the business’s most important platform capabilities.

The position is based in Uxbridge, West London, and is a full‑time role with hybrid or remote flexibility.

Responsibilities and Scope

You'll work with a high degree of autonomy, shaping investment decisions, influencing senior stakeholders and driving initiatives that span multiple teams and business functions.

Partnering closely with engineering, security, data, legal and commercial teams, you'll lead the evolution of the identity ecosystem, ensuring it remains scalable, trusted and fit for the future.

Alongside delivering strategic outcomes, you'll play a key leadership role in developing product excellence, mentoring others and fostering a culture of accountability, experimentation and continuous improvement across the wider product community.

You’ll be equally comfortable setting long‑term strategy and rolling up your sleeves to guide delivery, making informed trade‑offs between speed, quality, risk and value.

Success in this role comes from combining strategic thinking, strong stakeholder leadership and data‑driven decision making to create seamless experiences for members while strengthening a critical platform capability for the business.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience owning and leading complex product domains and long‑term product strategy.
  • Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and shaping investment decisions.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives across multiple teams and business functions.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear product specifications and outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of balancing customer needs, business objectives, risk and platform scalability.
  • Preferred
  • Experience within identity, authentication, fraud prevention or trust‑related product areas.
  • Strong data literacy with the ability to use qualitative and quantitative insight to inform decisions.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and developing Product Managers.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, experimentation and evolving product practices.
  • Ability to drive alignment across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
