We’re looking for a Commercial Channel Manager on a 14‑month fixed term basis. You will own and scale some of giffgaff’s most impactful acquisition channels: Students, Super Recruiters and Affiliates. In this role, you’ll set and deliver the strategy that grows our member base, increases lifetime value and unlocks new revenue streams. You’ll spot and execute new commercial opportunities, lead high‑profile, board‑level initiatives, and turn smart ideas into measurable growth through strong partnerships and sharp execution.
You’ll be the driving force behind our SIM partnerships strategy, influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally, negotiating and closing standout commercial deals, and building long‑term relationships that fuel sustainable growth. Alongside this, you’ll be a people leader – developing, motivating and empowering your team to perform at their best. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, product, finance and sales, own forecasting and performance reporting, and proactively tackle risks and challenges head‑on.
Qualifications
- Strategic mindset – experience translating high‑level business goals into practical execution plans.
- Ability to inspire stakeholders through presentation and storytelling.
- Aware of B2B sales and business development, and proven experience of commercial thinking in decision making.
- Can demonstrate the importance of understanding business forecasting, compliance, commercial value and its reporting.
- Confidently assess and own complex decision making, and facilitate across stakeholders with differing agendas.
- Experience working with a cross‑functional team – including Commercial Finance, Business Intelligence, Marketing, Brand, Go‑to‑market and Senior Leadership Team.
