Job Description
Overview of Role
To act as the key person for Made to Measure Clients from the initial consultation, through to fitting and collection of the finished garment, offering advice, knowledge and guidance and completing accurate measurements and ordering.
To act as an ambassador of the brand at all times and support in the growth and success of the Made to Measure Department (MTM) and Store.
- Main Responsibilities
- Listen and ensure full understanding of the Client’s requirements, guide Clients to make good choices, managing their expectations throughout the process
- Take precise measurements and complete order forms promptly and accurately
- Adhere to MTM standards and maintain consistency to minimise potential risks
- Strive to achieve a near complete garment at production to reduce additional in-house costs and eliminate the need for additional fitting appointments for Client
- Take every opportunity to introduce additional products/services to raise ATV and UPT
- Weekly focus on both orders and collections, to ensure sales budgets are met as well as securing future success for the coming months
- Active participation in company events to promote the MTM services, attend networking opportunities outside of store
- Offer hospitality to all Clients
- Speak to Colleagues and Clients with courtesy and respect.
- Handle any complaints with empathy and efficiency, escalating to Line Manager where appropriate
- Build productive trusting relations with Colleagues and Clients
- Respond positively to coaching feedback from the Manager and ensure that it is implemented.
- Execute sales/orders on till system accurately following company procedures
- Adhere to GDPR when storing Client data
- Support MTM Coordinator to maintain accurate records of orders
- Book appointments promptly following the booking procedure accurately
- Maintain a high level of personal presentation in line with company dress code, as well as good personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Ensure MTM suite is kept clean and tidy and welcoming
- Ensure the MTM stockroom standards are maintained
- Support with MTM stock audits
- Adhere to store scheduling, arrive to store ahead of shift, ready to start work at set time

Qualifications
Requirements
- Previous experience in Made to Measure within Men’s tailoring is essential
- Exceptional communicator both verbally and written
- Confident sales style along with an in-depth knowledge of tailoring
- Competent with Word, Outlook and Excel
- Additional languages would be ideal although not essential
