Infrastructure Group

We deploy long-term capital through direct and fund investments across the capital structure to diversify our portfolio. You will be given the opportunity to make direct equity investments across the infrastructure asset class – including gas and electricity networks, power generation and renewables, communications infrastructure, water utilities, airports, seaports and highways.

What impact can you make in this role

You will be part of a team that invests into infrastructure companies with stable and predictable cash flows, long-term inflation protection and reasonable risk-adjusted returns.

What you will do as an Associate

  • Evaluating and executing new Infrastructure investments.
  • Compiling and presenting financial and qualitative analysis of companies and sectors.
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with counterparties and potential investee companies.
  • Additional responsibilities such as management of the existing infrastructure portfolio.
  • Monitor assigned investments, supporting GIC as representative at investor and board meetings, interacting with management and other investors on a regular basis and working on various strategic initiatives with investee companies.
  • Be part of special projects as assigned from time to time (for example, market mapping of industries).

What makes you a successful candidate?

  • Relevant experience gained either in an Investment Bank, Infrastructure Private Equity, Management Consulting, or Accounting Firm.
  • An academic background demonstrating excellence.
  • Outstanding working knowledge and experience of financial modelling (DCF, or Project Financing) and comparative analysis.
  • Transactional due diligence experience and strong report writing skills.
  • Strong project management and co-ordination experience.
  • European languages are advantageous.
