The Financing Middle Office team sits within GIC Real Estate Business Management function and is responsible for providing end-to-end middle office support for Real Estate’s financing activities.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring financing deal pipeline; liaising with Capital Markets Team / lawyers / bankers to oversee closing of financing and hedging activities including execution of financing and hedging agreements, co-ordination of loan drawdown and preparation of associated documents.
- Set up of loan and hedging facility in corporate systems including specific loan terms / covenants.
- Work closely with Capital Markets Team and external partners to monitor and administer loan lifecycle activities.
- Oversee the monitoring of loan covenants to ensure continued compliance with loan obligations.
- Support internal and external reporting requirements including review of financial statements, confirmation of loan balances, and reporting to lenders as part of covenant obligations.
Requirements
- A university degree preferably in finance or banking or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience in banking, Real Estate loan operations or transaction processing is preferred.
- Possess an analytical mind and meticulous with details and accurate with numbers.
- Is results oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment.
- Able to drive co-ordination across multiple stakeholders.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
