We’re looking for a dual‑skilled Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to maintain, fault‑find, and repair rolling stock and depot systems – ensuring services run smoothly every day. The role may involve shift work, and attending incidents out of hours may be required to support urgent fault recovery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical & electrical systems on rolling stock.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Support incident response and recovery when needed.
- Work closely with depot and operations teams.
- Ensure all work meets strict rail safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Dual qualification or proven experience in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
- Rail depot or rolling stock maintenance experience (or similar heavy engineering).
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, with attending incidents out of hours when required.
