Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, milestones, resources and budgets. Define success criteria and ensure alignment with stakeholders on project deliverables. Identify risks, dependencies, constraints and implement mitigation strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines. Assign responsibilities, monitor team performance and provide guidance to ensure efficiency. Foster collaboration and accountability across team members to meet project objectives. Collaborate closely, and in alignment, with the Project Technical Lead to plan, execute, control and monitor optimal project behaviours, activities and outcomes.
- Execution & Progress Monitoring: Oversee project execution, ensuring progress aligns with plans, schedules and budgets. Track and report on project performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Address roadblocks and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including clients, external partners, suppliers, management and team members. Facilitate regular project updates, meetings and reviews to ensure clear communication. Manage stakeholder expectations; balancing technical and business needs.
- Resource Management: Ensure optimal allocation of resources; including personnel, tools and materials. Coordinate with procurement and external vendors to meet project requirements. Monitor resource usage and adjust plans as needed to achieve project goals.
- Project Delivery & Closure: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on schedule and to budget. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices. Archive all relevant project documentation and support closure of contractual agreements.

What we are looking for
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Project Management, Business). Proven experience leading significant and complex projects, preferably within an engineering or technical environment ideally with the performance powertrain development field. Strong knowledge and proven experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). High level of proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana). Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills. Certification in project management (e.g. PRINCE2) is preferred.
Desirable (not essential): Working knowledge of Japanese and/or French; enabling effective collaboration with our international teams and global stakeholders.
