We’re looking for a technically oriented Technical Sales Executive to help drive growth for Pyropress, part of the wider Pioneer Safety Group (PSG) providing industrial safety solutions, such as explosion protection equipment, warning systems and components to businesses all over the world. As a Technical Sales Executive, you’ll work closely with customers and distributors, support new business development, and promote our highly respected product range across multiple markets. If you enjoy combining sales with technical problem solving, and want to develop your career within an engineering-led environment, this could be the perfect role for you. As part of your training, you will need to in our Plymouth site for up to 2 weeks, fully accommodated and expensed, able to return home for the weekend.
What You’ll Be Doing as Sales Executive
- Technical Sales Support
- Understand customer application needs and recommend suitable product solutions
- Prepare commercial quotations and respond to technical queries
- Provide training and onboarding support for distributors
- Act as the primary contact for customers and distributors
- Proactively build long-lasting, trusted relationships
- Resolve issues professionally and escalate when needed
- Develop new opportunities via research, outreach, and networking
- Explore new markets and geographical regions
- Identify growth potential and support strategic business development
- Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams
- Support smooth order progression and keep customers informed
- Maintain accurate CRM and ERP records
- Support sales campaigns, promotions and marketing activities
- Attend exhibitions, trade shows and customer events

- Experience in technical sales, internal sales or customer service (B2B preferred)

Benefits
A benefits package which includes 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays, retailer discounts, health cash plan, 5% employer pension contribution, bonus scheme, life assurance and employee assistance programme.
