Pyroban is a worldwide company offering explosion protection solutions for the materials handling and oil and gas industries, producing bespoke forklift truck conversions and oil and gas engine packages for use in hazardous areas.
We have a great opportunity for a hands-on, practical person to join our Engineering Stores due to a continuing increase in work.
Daily Tasks- You will pick oil and gas engine kits, using a forklift to drive the major part into a pre-built wooden crate.
- Use a slinging crane to lift the remaining components, building them securely into the crates.
- Use a chop saw to make custom pallets and platforms within the structure, using a variety of screws, washers and bolts.
- Once the packaging is built, you will engrave and attach ID labels, take photographs to document each stage, upload to the company app and complete basic paperwork.
- Although predominantly based in stores, liaising with Purchasing to chase up parts and other departments is required.
- On a daily basis, inspection of all equipment used is required to comply with H&S.
- Due to the nature of the work, this calls for someone who is physically fit, pro-active with a positive approach, willing to assist others.
- Familiar with the use of hand tools.
- Hands-on.
- Ideally have a Forklift Licence.
