A rare and lovely opportunity to join a small, very friendly, very busy picture framing business, offering you the chance to join the team as a Picture Framer, using your experience and customer service skills. Working in this varied position, you will have at least 2 years experience as a Picture Framer, both in the workshop and face to face, over the phone and email with clients, advising on products and options, taking each project from start to finish.
Experience required:
- Cutting mouldings and joining (Morso for cutting; Cassese for underpinning)
- Cutting mounts (Gunnar CMC) and fitting to artwork
- Glass and board cutting (Fletcher wall mounted)
- Assembling artwork into frames and finishing
- Canvas stretching
- Ability to tackle seemingly impossible tasks!
You will be:

- Able to make a good cup of tea!
Working hours are Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday morning to help out, although we can consider flexible hours, to start and finish earlier, or on less than full time. Due to the rural location, you will need your own transport. Only those who fulfill the specified criteria will be contacted.
