This Assembly Technician assembles a variety of Pyroban components such as motors, alternators, lights and battery enclosures, and will require you to have a solid work history as a mechanical or electrical fitter, being able to read and understand drawings and wiring diagrams. Working as part of a multi skilled team, you will be responsible for completing documentation and timesheets, fulfilling planned production orders, discussing assembly requirements with the Lead Technician and identifying any parts or supply issues, to ensure that production runs to time. Additional requirements are to: · Participate in continuous improvement activities · Operate within the guidelines of the Company’s policies and procedures, IS09001 and internal work instructions · Comply with the Company’s health and safety policy, procedures and processes · Ensure that all areas, plant and equipment are kept in a clean and safe working condition and that the general area is kept in a clean and tidy state EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Essential · Experience as a mechanical/electrical fitter · Knowledge of electrical packages · Basic numeracy and literacy skills · Basic IT skills · Ability to carry out the physical requirements of the role – lifting, bending, kneeling, stretching · Proactive, flexible and enthusiastic · Strong team ethic. · Willingness to work overtime when required Desi…
