Quantity Surveyor

A market-leading National Fit Out Contractor specialising in high-end Commercial projects nationwide. Due to continued expansion, they are currently recruiting for a talented Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their Commercial Team in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an Established Fit Out Contractor that can offer career progression and exposure to challenging projects. The successful Quantity Surveyor will have a demonstrable track record (minimum 3 years’ experience) working within the Fit-Out sector, or with a Main Contractor – either will be considered. Due to the extremely busy nature of the business at present, you will be expected to hit the ground running and assist in completing projects on time, with minimal assistance.

Responsibilities include:

• Reporting to the Commercial Director.
• Commercial awareness of contracts to maximise profitability.
• Preparing, submitting, and agreeing a budget and monitoring actual performance against the agreed budget.
• Adept at applying the appropriate financial processes.
• Strong knowledge of materials procurement processes.
• Support the Project and Contract Managers in respect of project and commercial deliverables.
• Production of monthly cost and value forecasts.

Successful candidates will possess:

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
• IT proficient with Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.
