A Tier 1 Civil Engineering contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team due to the award of prestigious new contracts in Scotland. Applicants must be based in Scotland and be willing to work away from home (within Scotland) when necessary. Accommodation and subsistence, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, are on offer on top of the salary.
- Work collaboratively with contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Identify risks to project success and resolve or escalate these promptly.
- Inspect materials and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality.
- Address any issues with non-compliance or poor quality, escalating and reporting as necessary.
- CSCS Card required.
- Demonstrable experience as a Site/Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering projects (minimum 2 years).
- Civil Engineering qualification (HND upwards).
- Hold a full driving license.
- Flexibility to travel and work on different projects across Scotland.
- IT Literacy in Microsoft Packages.
- Awareness of issues impacting the construction of Civil Engineering projects.
- Experience of supervising others, including subcontractors.
