A major UK Tier 1 Contractor who are known as a real market leader in their field, delivering new build construction & civil engineering projects in the public, private, and regulated sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a real household name in the industry with the scope to work on prestigious projects across the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, the Health and Safety Advisor will provide support and guidance to the project team.
  • Promotion of our health and safety ethos and culture at all levels within the Company and with our sub-contractors.
  • Ensure working practices are safe and comply with relevant legislation.
  • Review sub-contractor documentation including safe systems of works.
  • Assist in the preparation of health and safety strategies and in the development of internal policies and procedures.
  • Lead and deliver health & safety initiatives.
  • Assist in the in-house training of managers and employees.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure policies and procedures are being fully implemented.
  • Conduct accident / incident investigations.
