Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE + benefits package

Industry-leading Engineering contractor, operating profitably for the last 50 years, benefitting from continued workstreams from their key client network. They specialise in a number of Engineering disciplines and can offer variety with their works. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an organisation who have an exceptionally high staff retention rate and who have a demonstrable track record of nurturing and promoting from within. Experienced Sub Agents and Senior Site Engineers are encouraged to apply.

Duties will include:

  • Manage the daily operations on site and ensure project timescales are met within a safe and accurate fashion.
  • Reporting weekly to the Project Manager on key aspects of progress issues and concerns.
  • Contribute and help to ensure that success throughout all projects is achieved by delivering the programme on time.
  • Support engineers on site.
  • Any other site management duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience in a similar capacity for another Civil Engineering contractor.
  • Able to communicate with staff at all levels.
  • Able to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Willing to mentor and develop site staff.
  • CSCS card.
  • SMSTS.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety in construction.
  • Degree/HND in Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • Understanding of NEC form of Contract.
