A major Tier 1 Building contractor who are known as a real market leader in their field, delivering new build construction projects in the public, private, and regulated sectors. Supported by the Project Director, the successful Project Manager will oversee the construction of a new £50m flagship development in Edinburgh. This position could suit established Project Managers, or experienced Site Managers with extensive relevant experience who are keen to progress into Project Management. Large scale flatted development experience is essential, and ideally RC Frame experience.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact, managing relationships with the client and stakeholders.
- Manage the delivery of the project to a high standard by budgeting and programming.
- Oversee the co-ordination of subcontractors, ensuring efficiency and minimising costs.
- Manage all phases of the project through to completion, to meet all contractual requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of delivering £30m build projects for another Tier 1 Building Contractor.
- Demonstrable job longevity with (an)other Tier 1 Building Contractor(s) as Site Manager or Project Manager.
- Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- A respectable leader with organisational skills and the ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
