A National Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civils Estimator to join an expanding Contractor as they extend their presence in the Scottish Construction Industry.
Applications are encouraged from individuals who have a Civil Engineering qualification and demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer prior to transitioning into an Estimating role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for a range of civil engineering works.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and technical input.
- Identify and assess risks associated with project tenders.
- Work closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure tender proposals are achievable and competitive.
Requirements:
- Experience as an Estimator in civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction.
