A multimillion company in the retail and manufacturing sector is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team in their Blackburn office. This will be a permanent position, working closely with the Senior Management Accountant to complete various duties.
They are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant with an AAT level 3 or above to join their office in Blackburn on a long-term basis. This job is ideal for an individual with focused knowledge on manufacturing-based Finance and experience in ERP.
Job description for Assistant Management Accountant
Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
Assist with preparation of Tax returns (including VAT and similar).
Support with month and year-end closing processes.
Carry out audits on stock system both physically and digitally.
Other stock/costing/transactional duties as required.
Job skills required for Assistant Management Accountant
Knowledge of Microsoft packages (specifically Excel) to an advanced level.
AAT Level 3 Qualified or above.
Background in £30+ million turnover company.
Experience in ERP.
3+ years in a Manufacturing Finance team.
Friendly and professional phone (and email) manner.
Data entry skills.
