The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for implementing our Social Media strategy to increase our online presence and improve the marketing and sales efforts. The Social Media Coordinator will report directly to the Social Media Manager EMEA and work closely with all Creative, Marketing, Retail and Sales departments. Feeding into the Social Media calendar, the Social Media Coordinator will provide support to European channels in the regions, with a focus on the UK and the new Gibson Garage London. This is a full-time, in-office position.
Essential Functions
- Implement the social media strategy, working in collaboration with the Social Media Manager EMEA and the global social media teams to deliver the right message at the right time.
- Assist the Social Media Manager EMEA with scheduling, tagging and publishing social media content to meet the needs of various stakeholders within the company, including owning the social media calendar for the European regional accounts.
- Capture and edit social-first video and photo content, including Reels and TikTok.
- Handle graphic design projects for social-first content.
- Work with our creative, Entertainment Relationship and retail teams to ensure we have industry leading content for our social channels.
- Work with internal and external photographers, videographers, copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Use social media tools such as Sprout Social and Hootsuite.

Required Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated success building brand loyalty, expanding consumer acquisition funnels and driving consumer engagement through social media direct to consumer strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of key social media applications (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook) and in-platform content creation tools.
- Knowledge of video, photo and graphic editing applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- To be commercially minded, results oriented and metrics driven.
- Ability to maximize brand exposure and profitability.
- Good understanding of social media KPIs.
- Critical thinker with problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Team player.
- Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Required Education and Experience
- 3 years’ experience in a social media role or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of all major social media platforms and a firm grasp of social media best practices.
- Familiarity with web design and publishing.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Musically inclined, collaborative, and able to think “company first”.
