JOB SUMMARY
The Pit Crew reports to the Gibson Garage Store Assistant Manager - Operations and will work in a high paced and interactive environment while providing a seamless customer experience. You will be responsible for all POS functions, cash-wrap standards, floor sets and stock replenishment. You could also find yourself assisting the most seasoned players or inspiring the next generation of guitar players.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Main Duties
- Process customer sales at POS points along with packaging standards.
- Maintain floor and cash-wrap standards.
- Assist customers with selections in Accessory and Lifestyle categories.
- Assisting with stock deliveries and replenishment of Lifestyle & Accessories categories.
- Keeping the POS / general shop floor areas tidy at all times.
- Provide guidance to customers looking for repair and restoration service.
Other duties
- Employee can be asked to perform other duties that are reasonable within the area of expertise.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE
- Experience maintaining stock replenishment.
- Proficient in daily POS functions and opening/closing procedures.
- Ability to ask open ended questions to understand customer wants and/or needs.
- Outstanding time management skill set with the ability to prioritize tasks.
